Healing the Heart

A 4 part series bringing together my deep reverance and love of Aromatherapy and Womb Yoga to help you cultivate compassion and reconnect to your heart’s deepest desire


 

Join me for a 4 week self-led series where we will delve into the heart space and cultivate deep understanding and compassion for the experiences we go through as humans.

 

This series came about after a year’s worth of connecting to my own heart through therapeutic Yoga applications and of course, Aromatherapy.

I dedicated myself to daily check ins through conscious breathing, movement that felt nourishing and honoured the various stages that I experienced in my body throughout the month and throughout the year, and daily usage of specific Essential oils designed to help me navigate feelings of loss, disempowerment, anger, anxiety and grief.

This was all done without forcing or harsh commitments that felt unachievable and that is at the core of what I share in my teachings.

Nothing needs to be forced or pushed. All we have to do is allow.

From this experience arose this series and I hope to be able to share with you some wonderful practices and knowledge so that you too may navigate these transitions with compassion and understanding and reconnect to that wonderful HEART space that exists in all of us.

 
 

What’s included:

  • 4 pre-recorded classes for you to enjoy in your own time. These will be sent to you on a weekly basis.

  • Each class will focus on a different theme and incorporate various practices such as conscious breathwork, gentle movement, sound and practical aromatherapy usage.

WEEK 1

The breath as a gateway to the heart

  • In this class I will share my desire for wanting to create this course and we will journey together into our awareness of the breath and how this is truly the gateway to our heart.

  • We will do a short but powerful breath practice and begin the process of connecting to our hearts and what lies within.

  • I will share knowledge on the energetics of the Heart space as a Chakra point weaving in Tantric teachings and Elemental connections.

  • Geranium ‘‘ the oil of love and compassion’’ will be the first oil we work with and we will dive into the aromatic use of Aromatherapy and how this can help us to heal and release emotions and bring about a sense of balance to both our physcial and energetic bodies.

WEEK 2

Greeting the body with touch

  • In this class we will explore the theme of energy and how we can consciously invite energy into the heart space as a way to heal and listen.

  • I will share some powerful mudras/hand gestures that can be used in our daily lives to welcome in energy and also to help us contain our energy and what that means. Themes that we will explore are setting boundaries and learning to listen to our needs.

  • We will do a short breath and mudra practice to help us connect to the heart and the womb space and I will give a brief overview of how these two spaces are connected.

  • Grapefruit ‘‘ the oil of honouring the body’’ will be our second oil and we will learn about the topical use of essential oils and the energetics behind touch and how this can foster a deep sense of gratitude for our physical bodies and all they do.

WEEK 3

Finding our voice

  • In this class we will explore how sound and vibration can open the heart space and cultivate a feeling of joy.

  • I will share the seed/bija mantra for the heart space and lead you in a practice that combines conscious breath awareness, mudra and sound.

  • Lavender ‘‘ the oil of communication’’ will be our third oil and I will share insights into how our ability to communicate is intrinsically linked to our ability to speak our truth with an open heart.

  • I will share some journal prompts that you can contemplate and build on.

WEEK 4

Nourishing Movement

  • In this class I will combine our previous experience of conscious breath awareness, mudra and sound with some nourishing Womb Yoga practices designed to gently open the body and heart and bring about a sense of peace and calmness.

  • I will share knowledge on cyclical awareness and what it means to live in the cycles and how we can adapt our practices to suit our needs.

  • Marjoram ‘‘ the oil of connection’ will be our final oil and I will share insights into how the practices I have shared with you can assist us in developing a sense of trust by simply connecting to our hearts and committing to listening more deeply to our needs.
